HADOW REID

Hadow Reid is a Gisborne born producer, audio engineer, multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter who started creating music from a young age never truly sticking to one genre. From EDM to metal Hadow has always-utilised his vast musical influences to shape the way he creates music. Hadow adores a wide range of artists across the musical spectrum like Queen, Phil Collins, Bob Marley, Bullet for my Valentine, and Skrillex. He has an extremely diverse ocean of influence and he wears every one of them on his sleeve.

 

From 2012-2015 Hadow was the lead guitarist , vocalist, and writer in the Regga/R’n’b band ‘The Crays’ were he got the opportunity to played alongside Prominent New Zealand Musicians like Katchafire and Spawn Breezie. 

 

Hadow is currently working on his Debut EP which will be a smooth love letter to the influences he had growing up and a pleasure for the audience to finally have their ears graced by the power of a multi-genre rollercoaster. Hadow’s sound is a mix of synthy, moody, and modern RnB with noticeable motifs from artists like Bruno Mars, New Edition, Earth Wind and Fire, and Temptations. He has never been one to keep it concise so chaotic is the only option for his first release.
